Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This notice explains how CRE8TR (“we”, “us”) uses personal data when you visit cre8tr.co.uk (the “website”), when you email us, and when you allow the optional analytics cookies described below. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Who we are

CRE8TR is the business behind The Digital Economy Warehouse™ and this website, and is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. CRE8TR is at a pre-launch stage and does not yet have a public postal address. You can contact us about anything in this notice at hello@cre8tr.co.uk. We will add our full company details to this notice as soon as they are available.

What we collect and why

The website has no user accounts, no forms and no newsletter sign-up. We only receive personal data in the ways described below.

When you email us

Our contact page lists email addresses for different kinds of enquiry. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. We use this only to reply and to deal with your enquiry. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us or, where you are asking about working with us, taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement. We keep these emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then delete them.

Technical data when you visit

Like any website, our web server receives technical information from your browser each time you open a page: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser and device type. Our hosting provider, IONOS, processes this information on our behalf to deliver the website and keep it secure, and may keep it in server logs for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.

Fonts

One of the fonts used on the website (DM Sans) is loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser information in order to deliver the font. Google Fonts does not set cookies. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the website consistently. Google explains this in its Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Analytics (only with your consent)

If you select “Accept” in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used so that we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or a campaign link), your approximate location (such as the city or region, derived from your IP address), your device and browser type, and which of our buttons and links you use (for example the JOIN, email, social and share buttons). It uses the cookies listed below. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising: advertising features and advertising cookies are switched off. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which is our legal basis. Until you make a choice, and if you select “Reject” or later withdraw your consent, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookies and sends Google only basic signals without cookies or other identifiers (for example, that a page was viewed), so they are not linked to you or to your other visits. Google acts as our processor for Google Analytics, and analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.

Videos

If we show a YouTube video on the website, it is loaded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only when the video window opens. YouTube, a Google service, then receives your IP address and browser information, and may store information on your device if you play the video. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. We use as few as possible:

  • c8_consent (set by cre8tr.co.uk): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask on every page. Strictly necessary. Kept for 6 months.
  • _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier (set by Google Analytics, only if you accept): distinguish visits and sessions so that visits can be counted. Kept for up to 2 years, unless you delete them or withdraw your consent, in which case we remove them from your browser.
  • ADMINSESSID (set by cre8tr.co.uk): used only when a member of our team signs in to the website’s management area. Strictly necessary. Deleted when the browser is closed.

You can change your analytics choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

JOIN and other websites

Registration for the CRE8TR Founding Community takes place on our separate JOIN platform at join.cre8tr.co.uk, which has its own privacy notice explaining how registration details are used. JOIN links on this website include campaign tags (for example “utm_source=cre8tr.co.uk”) that show which button was used; these tags do not identify you.

The website also links to social networks such as Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube. The share buttons on blog articles are ordinary links: nothing is sent to a social network unless you click one. Once you leave our website, the privacy policy of the other website applies.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our email, under terms that require them to protect it: our hosting provider (IONOS), Google (Google Fonts, and Google Analytics only if you accept) and our email provider. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

International transfers

Google may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the standard contractual clauses in Google’s data processing terms.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@cre8tr.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so that we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

The website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the website or the way we use personal data changes, for example when CRE8TR opens its first space or adds new features. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
